Glimpses of Me is an unedited journey through my life after the loss of my 12-year-old daughter in 2010 and my husband in 2015. Just as my writings are raw, in-the-moment, and unedited, this podcast will be too—because that’s how real life is.
I invite you to follow along as I navigate life after loss. My world has changed so much over the past 14 years, and every day I strive to grow and mold myself into a better human. A Tribute to our Liver Recipient, Carmen
I never thought that Carmen would ever pass away it was a thought maybe I didn’t want to think about because my sweet Brianna was inside her keeping her alive for 13 years and giving Carmen a brand new life to live. This family has been my extended family for 13 years and will forever be my family, I love them all so much!
Now I will grieve the loss of an amazing woman and once again the loss of my sweet daughter.
One of the biggest gifts and blessings that came from the death of my daughter was that she gave life to others and that I was able to connect with one of her recipients.
Carmen, I will always love you and think about you, you truly are the hero.
