Glimpses of Me - Straight Talk after Loss
Hello everyone, and welcome to Glimpses of Me.
Glimpses of Me is an unedited journey through my life after the loss of my 12-year-old daughter in 2010 and my husband in 2015. Just as my writings are raw, in-the-moment, and unedited, this podcast will be too—because that’s how real life is.
I invite you to follow along as I navigate life after loss. My world has changed so much over the past 14 years, and every day I strive to grow and mold myself into a better human. My hope is to inspire you to live a life filled with passion and purpose, even after profound loss. Remember, your loved one is cheering you on every step of the way.
With that being said, welcome to Glimpses of Me.

Happy 2 Year Anniversary to Glimpses of Me
I cannot believe it's been two years since our first episode. As promised here is the link to my first episode https://www.buzzsprout.com/2268440/episodes/13858846
I also mentioned some of the tools that I use now that work for me.
https://www.buzzsprout.com - this is where I currently host my podcast, I will be working on my website next year to host.
https://podcastle.ai - this is where I have done all my recordings, it's very user friendly
https://zencastr.com - this is what I started using my last two podcasts, I love what it offers at the free level to help us "baby podcasters" grow, I will be upgrading as I grow.
Microphone - it says it's no longer available, search for something similar. This is what I use with my computer but I also have an adaptor for my iphone I can use.
Portable microphone - I love these, the quality is amazing and they really do block out the background noise. I use these when I am away from home and want to record.
https://www.canva.com - I use canva for all of my graphics and design, it's very user friendly, you can do a lot with the free version and they have an upgrade.
Again thank you for all of your support over the past 2 years I look forward to more growth and getting to know you as well. If you are thinking about starting a podcast and don't know where to start, just do it and I'm here for any assistance you may need.
I look forward to an amazing year in 2026.
I love you all and I'll See You Tomorrow.
